GOLDEN TRIANGLE WITH VARANASI

This is a personalised tour conducted in private cars for both business and leisure travellers and can start on any day as per the choice of our guests.  

Delhi-Varanasi- Delhi- Agra- Jaipur- Delhi

Duration: 7 nights/ 8 days

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi, pick up at the airport, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing at Delhi.

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Then take a cycle rikshaw ride  through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors.
Post lunch you will be taken to see the “New Delhi” which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing the India Gate, The Presidential House, the Secratariat, the Parliament House and many other buildings in that area.
Drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India, and the Lotus Temple. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 3: Varanasi

Morning take a flight from Delhi to Varanasi, arrival at Varanasi, pick up from the airport and check in at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing and a boat ride on the Daswamedh Ghat and witness the age old tradition of hindus cremating their dead, a very overwhelming sight. . Evening witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Aarti being performed on the ghats of Varanasi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Visit Sarnath - 5 miles out of Varanasi - one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C.
Full day to see around Varanasi. Option of visiting the famous Benaras Hindu University.

Stroll along the bazaars full of shops selling, among other things, the world famous Benaras Silks.
Later get dropped at the airport for your flight back to Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.  

Day 5: Agra Sightseeing

In the morning drive from Delhi to Agra (4 hrs by road), check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Taj Mahal, the famous monument built by a king for his beloved queen, and thereafter the Agra Red Fort.
Enjoy a Tonga ride at Taj Mahal. Tonga is a horse drawn carriage used as a mode of transport in the olden times. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Agra

Day 6: Morning depart for Jaipur and Visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri to Jaipur is a 3 hrs drive. Arrive Jaipur check in at hotel. 

Proceed for sightseeing of City Palace & Jantar Mantar.

Spend the evening at Chokhi Dhani, an authentic village complex on the outskirts of Jaipur.
Return to the hotel after dinner & overnight stay. 

Day 7: Jaipur

Full day sightseeing at Jaipur of Hawa Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Albert Hall museum.  
Evening at leisure or free for shopping and other activities. Overnight at Jaipur

Day 8: After breakfast visit Amber Fort and Palace en route to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi and drop off at the airport for onward journey.
