Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Arrival at Delhi where our representative will meet you and facilitate you to check in at the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Delhi

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Then drive through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors.
Post lunch you will be taken to see the “New Delhi” which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing the India Gate, The Presidential House, the Secratariat, the Parliament House and many other buildings in that area.
Drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India. Evening back to the Hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi to Jaipur

After an early breakfast, leave for Jaipur which is 265 kms from Delhi and about a four hour drive.
Visit Amber Fort and Palace en route. The fort is a striking example of Rajput architecture situated on a hill side and overlooking a lake, which reflects the fort’s ramparts and terraces. Here you will be taken on an elephant back, in the traditional royal style to the main gate of the Fort and back.
Afternoon visit City palace in the heart of the old city which is the former royal residence that houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs.
Overnight stay at Jaipur
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing and drive to Agra
In the morning visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Also visit the landmark of the “Pink City” Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the street without being seen.
Post lunch drive on to Agra and visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute . Fatehpur Sikri is the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Arrive at Agra and overnight at a hotel.
Day 5: Agra sightseeing

Start the day by visiting the famous monument of love-Taj Mahal. This most famous Mughal monument was constructed by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal who died while giving birth to his 14th child and after just 17 yrs of marriage. It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. The central structure has four small domes surrounding the huge central dome. Taj Mahal is not open to visitors on Fridays.
After Taj Mahal, visit the Agra Fort which lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of town. It was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

Day 6: From Agra to Jhansi to Khajuraho
Depart from Agra by train to Jhansi where our representative will meet you. Drive on to Orchha en route to Khajuraho and visit the Raj Mahal and Jehangir Mahal at Orchha.
Drive on to Khajuraho, check in and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Sightseeing at Khajuraho

This morning visit the most exotic, erotic and famous temples at Khajuraho.
Eastern Group of Temples are lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, including yakshis. The three Hindu temples of the group are the Brahma, containing a four faced lingam, the Vamana, which is adorned on its outer walls with carving of apsaras in a variety of sensuous attitudes; and the javari, with a richly-carved gateway and exterior sculptures.
Western Group of Temples is certainly the best known, because it is to this group that the largest and most typical Khajuraho temples belong.
Southern Group of Temples-Dulah Deo Temple is the finest temple at Khajuraho also called Kunwar Math offers some of the choicest sculptures especially the Shalbhanjika.
Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 8: Khajuraho to Varanasi.
In the morning take a flight from Khajuraho to Varanasi. Our representative will meet you and help you to check in at the hotel. After some rest visit some of the many Hindu temples that line the river Ganges. Stroll along the narrow lanes and bazaars full of shops selling, among other things, the world famous Benaras Silks.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Full day sightseeing at Varanasi.

Take a boat ride on Dashwamedh Ghat to witness the age long hindu traditions of India. The sights are very overwhelming for first time visitors to India.
The rest of the day at leisure and to be around Varanasi to get a feel of the place and visit some more temples for which the city is famous.
Visit Sarnath - 5 miles out of Varanasi - one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C.
Overnight at hotel
Day 10: Varanasi to Delhi
Check out from hotel and drop at Varanasi airport for your flight to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi and rest of the day at Delhi for last minute shopping.
Later drop off at the airport for onward journey or flight back home.
